Prince Otsu and Lady Ishakawa

Gentle foothills, and
in the dew drops of the mountains,
soaked, I waited for you--
grew wet from standing there
in the dew drops of the mountains.

Waiting for me,
you grew wet there
in gentle foothills,
in the dew drops of the mountains--
I wish I'd been such drops of dew.

Otsu dan Ishakawa

di kaki gunung melandai,
di bawah titis embun gunung,
basah, saya menanti tuan,
dingin kerana berdiri di situ,
di bawah titis embun gunung.

menanti saya,
basah tuan berdiri di situ,
di kaki gunung melandai,
di bawah titis embun gunung,
saya mendamba menjadi titis embun itu.
